Western Australia State Nomination List and Eligibility

Western Australis has released its occupation lists. WA has two occupation lists, 

• Skilled Occupation List
• Graduate occupation list two occupation lists.

 Applicants can apply under the general stream if they have their occupation listed in the list as available and meet the following criteria: 

• Applicants must be living in Australia
• Applicants must meet the English requirements. Applicants with nominated occupation in an ANZSCO Group 1( Managers) or Group 2(Professionals) must have the proof of "Proficient" English or higher. All other categories must have proof of "Competent" English.
• Applicants must have the experience to claim 5 points in EOI. If experience in Australia, one year of experience; if overseas, the experience must be at least three years of experience. Experience must be a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Have a full-time employment contract valid for at least 12 months. Full time is a minimum of 35 hours per week
• If occupations are listed under regional WA only, the applicants must provide an offer or contract from the regional centres or WA's other regional areas.
• If applicants are outside WA, must have sufficient funds to cover the settlement and living costs

 The graduates who have studied in Western Australia can apply for nomination if they have their occupation listed under the Graduate Occupation List. Applicants must meet the following criteria along with the occupation listed under the graduate stream: 

• Applicants must be living in Australia
• Applicants must meet the English requirements. Applicants with nominated occupation in an ANZSCO Group 1( Managers) or Group 2(Professionals) must have the proof of "Proficient" English or higher. All other categories must have proof of "Competent" English
• Applicants must have studied in an accredited educational institution. The study must be a University or higher education qualification. It included a PhD, Masters,s Bachelors, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and/or a VET qualification at a Cert III level or above. The study must be at least two years of full-time face to face study.
• Applicants must have at least six months of Australian work experience in the nominated or closely related occupation or six months of contract with an employer in WA.
• If occupations are listed under regional WA only, the applicants must provide an offer or contract from the regional centres or WA's other regional areas.
• If applicants are outside WA, must have sufficient funds to cover the settlement and living costs
