NSW_491 Requirements

NSW state 491 requirements have been released:

To qualify for the NSW 491, applicant must be a  resident in NSW or offshore for at least three months and meet the minimum skilled work experience and point score as per the Unit Group. 

More details on occupation list and points and experience details will be shared soon. 

There are two nomination pathways:

Pathway 1: Apply directly with NSW RDA

Apply directly with RDA office in the preferred region and provide evidence of all the points claimed. Applicants who have been studying in regional NSW for 24 months are exempted of the work experience requirement. The study should be related to the nominated occupation.

Pathway 2: Be invited by Investment NSW

Be invited to apply by Investment NSW. Invitation rounds will occur ongoing throughout the financial year. There will be no set date. If you are invited by Investment NSW, you may live and work in any designated regional area of NSW for a minimum period of three years after being granted your visa by Home Affairs.
