Training Visa
Training visa, subclass 407 is an employer-sponsored visa. The applicants who are interested in getting trained in Australia and has an employer can apply for this visa provided they have 12 months of study/work experience in the last 24 months.
This visa is valid for a period of up to 24 months.
It can be applied for the following purpose:
- to complete a workplace-based training for registration, licensing or membership
- to undergo a workplace placed training to enhance/gain skills in an eligible occupation
- or classroom-based training for professional development
