Distinguished Talent visa

Subclass 858 is a permanent visa for an applicant who has an internationally recognised record of exertional and outstanding achievement in any of the following areas:

• Profession
• Sport
• Arts
• Academia and research

The prominent in the field must be in the last two years.

The applicants can be nominated by an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, eligible New Zealand Citizen, or Australian organisation with a national reputation in relation to your area of talent.

The applicants should be a benefit to the Australian Community. The contribution can be economic, social, and cultural or raise Australia’s academic, artistic or sports standing internationally.

For subclass 858, applicants need to have proof of Functional English.
